The other day, Melanie was going through the list of ringtones on her phone & Kaitlyn was standing next to her. This is what she started doing next:

*Note to Auntie Helen – I added a pic of her wearing the Pooh onesie on the previous post. She was really cranky so I couldn’t really take too many pix. This is like the only good one. Sorry!*
My 2 very talented cousins Benjamin & Jonathan Chan just came out with a CD titled Quiet Inspirations. So of course I’m promoting it on our blog! If anyone is interested, check it out at www.ChamberHymns.com.
Check out this video clip of them appearing on KSL Channel 5 in Utah. We’d appreciate it if you could rate it after (preferably 4-5 STARS!!). Thanks!
I knew from the beginning that I’m not weird. The truth is, I just can’t really get a good night sleep without my blanket! It just has this magical power & now Kaitlyn can attest to that as well!
Kaitlyn was rolling around & fussing in her bed the other day, so after trying a few things, Melanie decided to take my blanket & put it over her eyes. Within seconds, Kaitlyn fell asleep.

*note: Don’t worry, Mel took the blanket away soon after. Kaitlyn did not suffocate.
Then, I tried it again that night. I just let her hold it instead of putting it over her head, she fell asleep right away again.
FYI: Sorry, but she’s not getting my blanket. No way.
Kaitlyn just loves tags or anything that looks like a tag. She chooses tags over her thumb or a pacifier any day. Very weird.
Oh, by the way, since the recent discovery of her nostrils, she’s been digging it. That’s why in the last photo you can see a small pimple just below her left nostril.
Kaitlyn has been sleeping in her new crib for a week now. As we mentioned before, the old one that we got from a friend was a “porta-crib,” between the size of a bassinet & a full-size crib. It was quite low so it was getting harder for us to pick her up & put her down in it. Kaitlyn was also beginning to pull herself up, kneeling on her knees, so we needed one with taller side rails.
2 weeks ago, we finally upgraded it when my parents won the fight in paying for the new crib. It was a nice one that can be converted to a day bed & a full-size bed. But it was out of stock, so we placed an order. Last Friday, the store called & said that it arrived. So that night, Melanie’s dad & I went to pick it up (thanks Dad!).
These are of her in the new crib last Friday. She wasn’t able to stand up at the time.

阿爸,阿媽,多謝晒呀!
The second video is working now!
Here’s a video showing Kaitlyn learning how to crawl two weeks ago:
Here’s a video showing her crawling yesterday:
Kaitlyn was having some fun in the Graco Pack n’ Play playpen Sunday night.
She smashed her face against the screen. We laughed. She laughed. Then she made more faces & we laughed more!
When she grows up, she’s gonna love all the embarrassing pictures that we have & will have taken of her! hahahaha!
Although the dresses were meant for Kaitlyn to wear when she turns 1, 2, & possibly 3 years old respectively, nobody expects my parents to wait that long to see Kaitlyn tries out the dresses.
First up, Kaitlyn in a long red dress/Qi Pao/Kei Pou:

Next, Kaitlyn wears the pink Kung-Fu outfit:

Last, but not least, Kaitlyn in an ethnic dress that her Auntie JingYi got her in Shanghai:

Well, I guess it’s not that sick. At least she hasn’t successfully picked out any booger & put it in her mouth yet!
But actually, she is a little sick — a little under the weather. She’s been having runny nose for the past 2 days. She has also pooped twice yesterday, which doesn’t normally happen for her. We don’t want to say she has diarrhea yet because we’re really hoping that she doesn’t. But we are already giving her a little bit of Pedialyte & cold medicine to help her sleep better. We’ve also been sterilizing & washing her toys, pacifiers & bottles constantly.
The good news is she seems fine, besides the runny nose & the sneezing. She has more energy then us (as usual) & is as happy as ever. As you can see in the photo, she doesn’t look sick at all.
Anyway, we hope she’ll be well enough for a wedding that we plan on attending this Saturday!
