DAY 1: Wednesday – May 30
We took an early morning, 7 am direct flight from JFK to SLC. Kaitlyn was pretty good, slept for most of the flight there (and of course the Benadryl that we gave her helped a lot). She was up for the last hour or so of the flight, but she was calm & happy. The lady next to us & an older gentleman in front both complimented how well behaved she was.
We arrived at around noon, & Ether’s sister Jenny picked us up. That evening, Mel’s sister Jennifer, brother-in-law La, & their son Talon came over.
“That’s my cousin?” said Talon.

DAY 2: Thursday – May 31
We spent Thursday at home resting.

To the person who gave Kaitlyn the nice little potty months ago: Thank you again!
Both of our parents had been telling us from the beginning that it’s never too early to get Kaitlyn potty-trained. So after the last feeding on Monday evening, we decided to let Kaitlyn try out her brand new potty and see what happen. Seconds after we sat her down she peed in it!
So, the next morning, after feeding her, we tried again. She felt right at home and did the same. She was sitting so comfortably on it, while watching the Wimbledon with us on ESPN.
In fact, she was SO comfortable that while sitting next to us, she actually pooped a big one & we didn’t even notice it until Mel checked on her moments later!
You see, normally we would censor out gross photos showing pee & poop. We know it’s nasty (I gagged while dumping it into the toilet) & it may not even be “workplace-friendly”, but we’re just so proud of her that we have to show the world! 
In fact, she almost did it again this morning, but I forgot to put her on the potty right after she got done drinking. I guess she waited a bit for me, but saw that I didn’t do anything, so she just pooped in her diaper while I was still holding her.
But this could really be the beginning of the end of her infamous daily-explosive-messy-poopy diapers that we all know! :-p
If you’re going to be traveling, you may want to find out in advance if the airports you are going through offer free wi-fi (wireless internet connection). Here’s a link to a table that shows how much (if not free) airports charge for wi-fi.
Although some airports charges a fee, if you travel with certain carriers with their own terminals, they may still offer free wi-fi.
We’ve finally made a dent in re-arranging & cleaning our apartment after 4 days of work. It’s still a mess, & we still need to get dressers/cabinets/shelves/etc. for our stuff & for Kaitlyn’s stuff, but last night we were able to hook up our computers & get back online. So, here’s a sneak peek of the photos we took while we were on our trip to Utah visiting families.
If you’re wondering why there have been no new posts, it’s because we’re on VACATION! We’re having a blast here! We (especially Kaitlyn) enjoy being with family that we haven’t seen for a while. And they have Walmart everywhere!!! =D I’ve been going there almost everyday! I’ve probably gained like 5 pounds already from all the yummy food and chocolate chip cookies I’ve eaten. Kaitlyn is getting lots of attention. She better enjoy it while it lasts because when we get home, she is going to be bored sitting by herself most of the time! But no worries, we’ve taken LOTS of pictures of Kaitlyn & her cousin Talon. We even have a funny video to put up. So just be a little more patient with us, as we are enjoying our time off together! =)
