Hey Mel,

Take it easy, and dont stress- stress can make it break out and react more. i’m sure it’s just an allergic reaction.. and just take it one day at a time.. that’s the best part! you get to experience being a great caring mother! I’ll pray for you and hope you get better fast!

Mel – my friend Wami had PUPP. I think that’s how you spell it. Maybe it’s what you have and maybe not. I found the link to Jerin’s update on her skin condition. Check it out if you’d like at http://iseeyu.blogspot.com/2006/04/one-up-one-down.html

Things will get better. And after the first month, she will be sleeping a lot when she’s supposed to without much fussing
(hopefully). = )

Mel, sorry about the rash. hmm, my friend Wami broke out into a rash too during her labor and had it after the birth for a bit too – I wonder if you have the same thing. She tried a lot of different meds too, but had all sorts of diagnoses but nothing worked. But she found out eventually what it was. I should call you about it.

I feel deeply sorry for your situation. Wish there anything I can help beside praying for you. But I believe that you will overcome all these challenges of being a new mom because you have gone through the tough nine months, and you will get through this for sure. Looking at the pictures of your baby I felt peace, I think you too have the same feeling too. Heavenly Father will be always be there for you, I can feel it, you can feel it. Leave you this my favorite scripture from D&C 58:4,”For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand.” Keep it Roll’n!

Add Oil Mel. God never give challenges that we can’t overcome! don’t be depressed. YOu are a GREAT mom and you just want to give your best. I am very proud of you!! I don’t know what will happen to me when it is my turn. (especially when George is often away…) aaaaaa!

I heard from my sister that the first few months could be a hazard but after the baby is used to the routine, things will get better. Will pray for you and kaitlyn!!! **I am sure Ether is also very helpful too so leave all the cooking, cleaning, and washing for him la. ekekekeke
