Don't stress Mel. The whole U.S. system of insurance and medical bills is my biggest pet peeve. They always bill you first and then there'll be a disclaimer saying that "This is not a bill." I used to freak out about it too but I've been so used to it now that it's not any surprise I get bills for which my insurance refused payment and then I'd have to go through the long process of calling them to have them rectify the problem.

hope you passed the glucose test.

I read an article yesterday about onion. Eat a lot of onion and it will lower your sugar count, but make sure you don't over cook it.

wowow. I gotta think twice b4 getting pregnant...ekekeke! It is good to release your stress by writing /"complaining" but I am sure counting God's blessing will help more. I know it is very stressful to have everything happened at once but what else can we do. Trust me. I have the same feeling. The conclusion is ENJOY the ride and trust in the Lord. Think ENJOY and RELAX. Especialy since you are pregnant now, just think of yourselves as a QUEEN. ekkekeke!

Is it temporary that you can't eat any carb?

"Okay, there are many people worst times off than you." That's what I've heard in the last few month's of Talon's life. You think you have it bad...think of all those mothers who have to be on bed rest or have to inject themselves everyday with medication so that their baby would be normal and healthy (ah hello...me) or those that have AIDS/HIV that wouldn't have a chance to have a normal baby or those babies who would be born mentally retarded or worse. C'mon...be positive and think that the Lord is blessing you in some way so that you won't gain so much weight on the carbs...that's how I see it. Yes, it is stressful but you have to remember that everything is in the Lord's hands. Trust in him and pray to him everyday. That's what helped me everyday.

About the hospital bill...you should wait for your insurance to pay their portion before paying the bill. I'm pretty sure that it is covered since it has to do with your pregnancy. I had that done and my insurance paid for it. Hospitals are quick to bill but they should also be quick to bill the insurance. I say don't worry about the bill...just worry about your health and your baby for right now.

Well, good luck on the next test. Oh and drink lots of water...I drank about 10 glasses of water a day. It tastes nasty but I think it helped me not have diabetes because I loved to eat sour candy and chocolate everyday.
